A Vietnamese–born billionaire lies top 400 richest people in America

In the latest list of Forbes, billionaire Hoang Kieu is alongside with Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg … and becomes one of the 400 richest people in America.

On September 29, Magazine Forbes has launched a list of 25 new businesspeople, who lies in the top of 400 richest people in America. Topping in the list is a Vietnamese–born billionaire named Hoang Kieu, who owns a fortune of $ 3.8 billion.


According to the introduction of Forbes, Hoang Kieu was born in Vietnam and moved to the US in 1975 when he was 31 years old. He worked for Abbott Laboratories for 5 years, before the establishment of his own company and specialized in producing plasma – Shanghai RAAS Blood Products in 1989. The company is headquartered in Shanghai (China) and lay in top 200 (reached capitalization under $ 1 billion) Asia’s best enterprises in 2012.

In addition, Shanghai RAAS Blood Products, he also owns a maker of nutritious foods RAAS Nutritional in China in 2013, a famous firm produces red wine at Napa Valley (California, USA) in 2012. This company produces approximately 10,000 bottles of wine per year with main markets are China and some other Asian countries.
